Getting Started — the First Day of Work

I still get the jitters every time I start a new job! I love it — makes you feel alive.

It’s my first day of work. I have my first day of work syndrome that everyone has as well. Being nervous about what would the colleagues be and how would the works be. Kind of scared of the unknown and at the same time looking forward to the work (And responsibilities!)

It goes as typical as the HR greets me and offered an hour-long of welcome to the company onboarding session and say hello to every important person in the company (Team Heads, Managements and respective personnel that in my position I should be aware of). And then, there are a senior sales Bo. Bo is one of our senior and internally recognized as a successful sales who manages some of the big names companies under his belt. By the time I met him, he was already counting down from his last day (as he resigned already) and headed towards AWS. Everyone (including me when I heard the news) congratulate him and I was shocked that someone who worked here could “level up” to these big titles companies.

He is one of the humblest people I know in the company and he indeed from the very first impression, is a passive, non-aggressive and neighbourhood friendly person. That's also his sales personality, which gives you the…
